EXPORT MANAGER

Vigna International Pvt Ltd is a subsidiary of Gnanam Imports (Pvt) Limited (who are one of the largest pulses, rice, and spices traders in Sri Lanka. Vigna International primarily deals with export of quality spices from Sri Lanka. We are looking for a self-motivated individual, to join one of our team for the position of Export Manager.

The candidate will be responsible for international sales and marketing, documentation, and finding new markets for the sale of our products overseas while maintaining pricing, packaging, and quality as to international standards. The selected candidate will be directly reporting to our Chairman.

Suitable Qualities

  • A professional qualification and/ or a degree in marketing would be a definite advantage.
  • Should have minimum 5 years of experience.
  • Knowledge in Spices market mainly cloves, pepper, Cinnamon, Betel nut etc.
  • Should be able to work in an organized manner and be able to work independently
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and creative thinking skills.
  • A self-motivated individual committed to accomplishing the objectives of our Company.
  • Ability to work independently and produce results.

STORE MANAGER

Gnanam Imports (Pvt) Ltd is a one of the largest pulses, rice and spices traders in Sri Lanka having its focal business interest in importing and wholesale distribution of essential commodities supplies.

Looking for most suitable personnel for the position of Store Manager

Job Responsibilities

  • Drive customer service excellence to every aspect of the store, including store appearance, display of merchandise, product placement, store layout, and selling procedures
  • Maintain records relevant to purchases, storage and delivery.
  • Fully responsible to maintain minimum stock for each item with due consideration to future estimated orders.
  • Perform administrative tasks to support the smooth operation, including the timely arrangement of delivery, completing documentation.
  • Fully responsible for entry of records into our updating process (Busy System).
  • Supervise, motivate, develop staff(s) at the store.
  • Ensure the store complies with outlined safety policies and procedures, as well as health regulations.
  • Monitor stock and inventory, and perform quality assurance of the goods on a regular basis.

Job Responsibilities

  • Relevant experience as a Store Manager
  • Strong organizational skills
  • 2 to 4 years’ experience in-store maintenance or food industries will be an advantage
  • Excellent understanding and complying with 5S and Store House Practices.
  • Possess excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
